To ask the President of the Board of Trade, what arrangements he is making for economic advice in his Department.

§ Mr. Heseltine
Dr. Walter Eltis, director general of the National Economic Development Office will be assisting me as my chief economic adviser on a part-time basis until his appointment as director general comes to an end on 31 December 1992 and thereafter on a full-time basis.
