asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it is their intention to affect the supply of gas for domestic and comparable purposes, such as in caravans, authorised by Section 8 of the Gas Act 1986, by the provisions of Clause 2 of the Offshore Safety Bill [H.L.].

I understand that the provisions of Clause 2 of the Offshore Safety Bill will not have any effect on Section 8 authorisations.
