§ Mr. MacleanThe results of this joint European proposal to carry out a major trans-boundary survey of cetaceans in the North sea, Kattegat, Skaggerak and the channel will help to identify important habitat areas for these species and potential threats to them. The survey will also aid Community states in fulfilling their international nature conservation obligations and the results will provide a basis for the development of an integrated management plan for the region.
