HC Deb 08 December 1992 vol 215 cc594-5W
Mr. Luff

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received about the proposed Wyre Piddle bypass on the B4084 and its possible extension to include the village of Upper Moor and transport supplementary grant; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Kenneth Carlisle

My Department has received a number of representations about this proposal. However, the extent of the bypass and the priority given to its construction are matters for Hereford and Worcester county council, which is responsible for the B4084. We shall consider the case for transport supplementary grant when a detailed proposal is put to us by the county council.
