§ Mr. HanleyThe client legislation unit is a small, time-limited unit within the Department of Health and Social Services dedicated to the preparation of new registered homes legislation, both primary and subordinate. The unit issued the Residential Care Homes Regulations (Northern Ireland), the Nursing Homes Regulations (Northern Ireland) and the Registered Homes Tribunal Rules (Northern Ireland) in draft form for consultation on 16 November. It will receive comments on all this subordinate legislation up to 14 December.
