§ Mr. SainsburyOnly sections 5 to 8 of the standard international trade classification are included as "manufactured goods". In 1990 the United Kingdom's trade deficit in manufactured goods was £13.7 billion. The Federal Republic of Germany, excluding East Germany, had a surplus of £58.6 billion.
