To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the officers comprising the Army Board by rank, name, previous regiment or corps and present job.

Mr. Archie Hamilton

Four members of the Army Board are serving officers:

  • General Sir John Chapple, late 2nd Gurkha Rifles, Chief of the General Staff
  • General Sir David Ramsbotham, late Royal Green Jackets, Adjutant General
  • General Sir Edward Jones, late Royal Green Jackets, Quartermaster General
  • Lieutenant General A. S. J. Blacker, late Royal Tank Regiment,
  • Master General of the Ordnance.
