To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish a table showing the percentage increase since 1979 for the median, average, upper and lower deciles of full-time adult rates as(a) female hospital ward orderlies, (b) female welfare workers, (c) local authority male manual workers, (d) male and female non-manual workers in banking and finance, (e) male and female non-manual workers in legal services and (f) male and female manual workers in manufacturing.

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will publish the percentage increase in real earnings in(a) manufacturing and (b) non-manufacturing of (i) manual and (ii) non-manual males arid females respectively in the lowest decile, the lower quartile, the higher quartile and the highest decile, with the median and average figures for 1970 to 1979 and 1979 to the most recent available date;

(2) whether he will publish in the Official Report a table in the same form as that contained in his reply dated 15 November 1989, Official Report, column 279, bringing that information up to date and in each case distinguishing between manufacturing and non-manufacturing; and if he will provide corresponding figures for (a) the periods 1970 to 1973 and 1974 to 1983 and (b) females over each period.
