§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Defence (The Earl of Arran):I have placed in the Library of the House copies of the eight D Notices current since 1982. Advice under these is offered by the Secretary of the Defence Press and Broadcasting Committee, who is responsible to both sides of the committee. I understand that data are not readily available on how often advice has been given since 1982.
