To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will set out the distribution of his consultation document on the future of local government.

Copies of the consultation paper "The Structure of Local Government in England" were sent to all principal local authorities, local authority associations, Members of Parliament and major national organisations with an interest in local government and to other organisations and individuals on request.
