To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will place in the Library copies of all press releases issued by his Department relating to the "Options for Change" study.

Press releases issued by this Department are available in the Library, where they are routinely provided through the Central Office of Information.

Mr. O'Neill

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what alterations have occurred to either operational or procurement policy that have resulted from work carried out as part of the "Options for Change" study.

As my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State indicated on 21 January 1991 at column 103, we are continuing to study the proposals announced last July, including the implications for our future equipment needs.
