To ask the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will make a statement on the future of training schemes provided by the Merseyside Council for Voluntary Service;

(2) by how many places the allocation of adult training places on the Merseyside Council for Voluntary Service scheme have been reduced; and what provision he will now make for the training of the category of trainees previously assisted by the Merseyside Council for Voluntary Service;

(3) by how much the total number of training places, available through employment training, has been cut in the Merseyside area;

(4) if he will visit the Merseyside Council for Voluntary Service scheme.
