Mr. McMaster

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish a table showing the number of unemployed people in the Paisley, South constituency for each September between 1979 until 1990.

Unemployment figures for parliamentary constituencies have only been available since June 1983. The following information is available in the Library. The table shows the number of unemployed claimants in the Paisley, South parliamentary constituency in each September for the years 1983 to 1990.
