§ Sir George YoungYes. A draft revised planning policy guidance note on housing, PPG 3, was issued for consultation by my Department in the autumn of 1989. This attracted several hundred responses which raised a number of important and complex issues requiring careful consideration. My right hon. Friend hopes to be in a position to publish the revised guidance in final form shortly.
