What progress is being made towards renewing and extending the mandate enabling United Nations Agencies to provide urgent humanitarian aid throughout Iraq.

The UN Secretary-General's Executive Delegate, Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan, secured on 24th November an extension of the Memorandum of Understanding under which the UN humanitarian agencies operate in Iraq. The extension is valid until 30th June 1992.
