To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will introduce a compulsory cooling-off period for all prospective purchasers of timeshare accommodation; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 28 November 1991]: My hon. Friend the Member for Basingstoke (Mr. Hunter) has tabled a Bill which would introduce a compulsory cooling-off period for prospective purchasers of timeshare accommodation. This Bill has my full support.
