§ Mr. RedmondTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on missing documents connected with the barracks at Aldershot, which were stolen from inside a vehicle stolen from a street in Chatham, Kent on 3 December 1990; what were the documents' security classification; and whether either(a) the documents or (b) the vehicle have yet been recovered.
§ Mr. Archie HamiltonA car belonging to a drainage contractor was stolen from outside his home in Chatham, Kent in early December 1990. It contained some unclassified maps and plans which the contractor needed to carry out his contract. As at 19 April neither the documents nor the car had been recovered.
