What are the assurances given by the United States Government which have satisfied them that defects discovered in American nuclear shells will not recur.

Whether Lord Arran's answers of 10th October (H.L. Deb. Col. 400) mean that they are unconcerned about the possibility of the death or injury of British subjects arising from the accidental explosion of defective United States nuclear shells.

No. The Government are satisfied with US Government assurances about the safety of US nuclear weapons.
