What is the average cost of printing and processing, including the agency fee to the Post Office, of a social security benefit order book and of two order books for the same benefit.

The average cost of each 20 week social security benefit order book is around £7. In addition a fee of 16.75 p for every £100 of benefit handled is payable to Post Office Counters Limited for the provision of cash.
