§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) is he has any proposals to transfer funding responsibility for the rehabilitation engineering section at Rookwood hospital, Llandaf, Cardiff to the Welsh Health Common Services Authority;
(2) when he next plans to visit the rehabilitation engineering section at Rookwood hospital, Llandaf, Cardiff;
(3) what proposals he has to increase direct funding for the rehabilitation engineering section at Rookwood hospital, Llandaf, Cardiff;
(4) what response he expects to make to the report to him dated March 1990 by the principal scientist and head 546W of the rehabilitation engineering section at Rookwood hospital on the funding and staffing needs for the work of the three rehabilitation engineering units in Wales;
(5) what representations he has had regarding (a) the funding, (b) the staffing and (c) the length of waiting lists for special seating for the severely physically handicapped in Wales;
(6) what proposals he has to increase the capacity of the three rehabilitation engineering units in Wales;
(7) what proposals he has to reduce the waiting list for special seating for the severely physically handicapped in Wales;
(8) what consultations he has had with organisations representing the physically handicapped in Wales regarding the capacity, staffing and funding of the rehabilitation engineering section at Rookwood hospital, Llandaf, Cardiff;
(9) what is his most up-to-date estimate of (a) the funding and (b) the staffing required to increase the patient cases serviced by the rehabilitation engineering sections in Wales to 1,000 per year;
(10) if he has any proposals to place responsibility for the rehabilitation engineering section under the wing of the artificial limb and appliance service;
(11) what proposals he has to increase the capacity for the rehabilitation engineering units in Wales to meet the needs of patients requiring special seating for the severely physically handicapped.
