To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he next expects to meet pensioners' representatives regarding free television licences; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. and learned Friend is not expecting to meet pensioners' representatives about free television licences. As my right hon. and learned Friend the Member for Putney (Mr. Mellor) told the hon. Member on 6 July, we have no plans to change the present concessionary arrangements.
