§ Mr. FlynnTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list all conferences(a) to which his Department was or has been invited to contribute and (b) where his Department accepted an invitation to contribute, on "Business And The Environment in 1990".
§ Mr. RedwoodRecords of all such invitations received are not held centrally. Nor are acceptances, but research in the time available indicates the Department will have contributed to around 70 such events by the end of 1990.
In addition the Department will itself have organised and participated in over 30 seminars during 1990 on subjects such as waste minimisation, environmental technology and environmental labelling.
