§ Mr. Archie HamiltonRelative full annual costs of a regular Army private based in the United Kingdom and a Territorial Army private are as follows:
£ per annum (a) Regular Army private 17,870 (b) TA private 1,471 The cost of a regular private is based on a full year of 365 days whereas the annual cost of a TA private is based on an average number of 20 training days each year.
