§ Mr. MacleanTo date there have been very few reports of reinfection on premises where birds have been compulsorily slaughtered and my Department does not plan at present to carry out the kind of research suggested. The assistance of my Department's veterinary investigation centres is available to veterinary practitioners should they wish to advise their clients on salmonella control in poultry or investigate possible causes of reinfection.
