How many additional staff have been engaged in Britain to deal with the community charge.

The local authority employers' organisation (LACSAB) has estimated that, in the year to March 1990, 9,500 additional fulltime equivalents have been engaged in England and Wales to deal with the community charge. No estimate is available for Scotland.
