§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyWe have received representations from a number of organisations about implementation of the Children Act 1989 for which the target date is October 1991. We will be consulting representatives of practitioners, local authorities, voluntary organisations and court and legal interests on the content of regulations and guidance.
