To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether the selective reductions undertaken at Humana hospital have been registered as abortions.

This hospital is approved under section 1(3) of the Abortion Act 1967. The abortion notification forms completed by operating practitioners cover the method used to secure termination but do not require the practitioner to specify whether the termination has been a selective reduction.
