To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list all major accidents to naval aircraft in 1989, giving the type, tail number, location, date and cause of accident in each case.

All accidents to Royal Navy aircraft during 1989 are currently under official investigation. As such, details of the causes cannot be given. However, the remaining information is as follows:
