He is also qualified for the right of abode in the United Kingdom under section 2(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1971 by virtue of his birth in Penang and five years' residence in this country, and he became a British citizen on 1 January 1983 when the British Nationality Act 1981 came into force.
§ Mr. SheermanTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he has examined documents in the matter of a request by the Government of Hong Kong for the extradition of Mr. Lorrain Osman which were prepared and sworn by Mr. Warwick Reid of the Hong Kong Government, and if he will make a statement.
