§ Mr. McLoughlinOver the last year, the United Kingdom has successfully promoted a series of practical initiatives to improve co-operation and coordination between air traffic control authorities in Europe. The European Civil Aviation Conference recently established a task force to examine the scope for further integration of air traffic control systems. The task force's recommendation will be considered by European Transport Ministers early next year.
