asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will publish a table showing for each local education authority in England and Wales:

  1. (a) whether its local management scheme submission has yet been approved by the Secretary of State; and
  2. (b) in the scheme as submitted or approved what is (i) the value of the general schools budget; (ii) the value of the mandatory exceptions; (iii) the value of the aggregate schools budget; (iv) (ii) as a percentage of (i); and (v) (iii) as a percentage of (i).

My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science has announced his intention to approve the following schemes:

  • Cambridgeshire Havering
  • Lincolnshire
  • Norfolk
  • Northamptonshire Oxfordshire
  • Suffolk
  • Surrey

The further information requested by my noble friend was missing from a number of scheme submissions and has already been sought from the authorities in question. On receipt, a full table will be published.
