My Department has recently been advised by the Bassetlaw district council that agreement has now been reached, in principle, between the local planning authorities and the CEGB on the outstanding matters concerning the construction and operation of the station.
My right hon. Friend will wish to receive confirmation of this, together with copies of the separate agreements between the councils and the CEGB, before proceeding with his consideration of the application.
