Whether the "Specialist Operations" departments of New Scotland Yard are being fully deployed, or being curtailed through current financial restrictions.

Decisions on its deployment of the Metropolitan Police and the allocation of resources to the prevention, investigation and detection of particular crimes are operational matters for the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. If there is a particular matter which concerns my noble friend, I suggest that he raises it direct with the commissioner, if he has not already done so.
