asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether in the light of the Griffiths Report on Community Care and of the House of Lords debate of 7th December (cols. 624 to 662) they will set up an inter-departmental review of the revenue funding of special needs hostels and registered homes (for example for the elderly) run by voluntary bodies.

These and related housing and care issues are already the subject of consultation between the government departments concerned.
