Mr. Maginnis

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what was the full-time equivalent staffing level in each of the further education colleges in Northern Ireland during the academic year 1988–89;

(2) what was the full-time equivalent student enrolment to each of the further education colleges in Northern Ireland during the academic year 1988–89.

The Department of Education does not collect such information on a full-time equivalent basis. The actual numbers of teaching staff and student enrolments, both full-time and part-time, in each of the further education colleges during the academic year 1988–89 were as follows:
