To ask the Minister for the Arts what support for the British Film Institute and the National Film and Television School has been achieved in the last 10 years both from Government and private sources.

In the last 10 years the British Film Institute has received £83.6 million in Government support and £67.9 million from the private sector. In the same period, the National Film and Television school has received £10.7 million and £9.3 million respectively, from the same two sources.
