§ Mr. John PattenUp to 21 October, my right hon. Friend had received representations on the proposals set out in the White Paper from the following nine organisations:
- The Association of British Editors.
- The BBC.
- The Campaign for Freedom of Information.
- The Guild of British Newspaper Editors.
- The Law Society of Scotland.
- The National Consumer Council.
- The Newspaper Society.
- The Press Council.
- The Society of Authors.
