§ Mr. Ian GristI remind the hon. Gentleman that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment recently stated that we had asked the water authorities to assess whether their programmes could be accelerated. We are considering their responses, but the programmes are a matter for the individual water authorities.
