Which European Community countries have pursued policies furthering political federation or are regarded as favouring it: and which Articles of the amended Treaty of Rome specify federation as one of the aims of its signatories.

Our policy within the EC is based on commitments entered into under the EC treaties. Nowhere do these treaties refer to progression towards federation.
