§ Mr. Donald ThompsonThis Department has taken the following positive action:
- Organised residential and non-residential development training courses solely for women managers.
- Advertised opportunities for job-share and part-time work.
- Notified staff of the opportunity for reinstatement and how to "keep in touch."
- Established a register of staff who are interested in working reduced hours.
- Contributed to the OMCS training review which will identify the scope for arranging further developmental or skills training for women. It will also identify areas where such training could be arranged for black and Asian staff.
- Advertised staff vacancies in inner city job centres.
