To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what account was taken in drawing up the draft Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations of the relevant European Economic Community standards.

To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if his Department has had any discussions with the European Commission about the draft Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations.
