§ Mr. Peter BottomleyNo recent representations have been made on the extent of evasion of the duty payable on coaches. The national survey of VED evasion in 1984 did not identify coaches as a source of significant revenue loss. We are not aware of evidence to suggest that evasion among this vehicle group is exceptional.
