§ Mr. KirkwoodTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make it his policy that responses received to consultative documents issued by his Department be made publicly available in his Department's library, except where the respondent has specifically asked that this be not done; and if he will arrange for this procedure to be made clear when future consultative documents are issued.
§ Mr. LeeThe Department of Employment operates a system whereby responses to consultative documents issued by my Department are made available in the Library for public inspection, on request. Responses are not made available when the respondents have stated that they do not wish their comments to be made public.
