To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will list all the relevant goods made the subject of prohibition notices under section 13 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 and the similar provisions under previous acts.

No prohibition notices have been made under the Consumer Protection Act 1987. Three were made under the Consumer Safety Act 1978:

• Automatic Rice Cooker (1983)
• Sprint 0.6 TA Scissor Jack (1984)
• Expanding Novelties, New Grobots, New Grobugs and New Grobeasts (1985)

Normally suppliers agree to remove hazardous products from the market voluntarily.
