To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what further schemes are required to complete the dualling of the A55 between Chester and Bangor; and if he will make a statement.

Five schemes are under construction. Four further schemes—the Traveller's Inn, Pen-Y-Clip, Aber and Rhaullt Hill improvements—are planned. Dualling is expected to be completed in the early 1990s.
