To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what new proposals he has to support or initiate measures to increase jobs in the tourist and leisure industries in(a) Gwent and (b) Wales.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

The increase in resources we have made available for the Wales tourist board and assistance announced under the Enterprise Wales package will help the tourist industry create jobs in all parts of Wales.
