§ Mr. John PattenMy right hon. Friend has not recently visited the Clwyd fire service and has no present plans to do so. The whole time firefighter establishment of the Clwyd fire brigade at 1 January 1988 was 197 and the retained establishment was 240. Staff actually in post were 184 and 227, respectively.
