§ Mr. WaldegraveMy right hon. Friend and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales have now made the second commencement order for the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 which brings into force on 18 April 1988 the whole of parts II, III and IV, dealing respectively with the appointment by the court of managers; the acquisition of leasehold blocks in certain circumstances; and the variation of leases. We aim to bring the remaining provisions of the 1987 Act into force by the summer recess.
