HC Deb 20 June 1988 vol 135 c416W
96. Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with the Governments of producer countries concerning improvements in commodity prices.

Mrs. Chalker

My right hon. and learned Friend and other Foreign and Commonwealth Office Ministers meet their opposite numbers in the Governments of commodity-producing countries at regular intervals. On these occasions the developmental problems facing producer countries, including the prices their commodities command, are often discussed.
