§ 50. Mr. LivseyTo ask the Minister of Agriculture Fisheries and Food what representations he has made to the European Community on the proposals for the substitution of cereals set-aside with grazing land.
§ Mr. MacGregorThe Community set-aside scheme allows the option to member states to permit land set aside from arable crops to be grazed by livestock. In discussion of the detailed rules, I have insisted that there should be tighter control on the number of livestock which can be grazed on set-aside land in those member states applying this option.
